Misfit Faith: The Disciples

Jesus was constantly taking the traditions and practices of his time and turning them on their heads, forcing people to look at things in a different way. It's exactly what he did when he chose the disciples that would follow him and learn from him during his ministry. These guys were not qualified for the task that Jesus was calling them too but that didn't matter. He showed them that in a misfit faith, you belong, first and foremost. That's what we're talking about this week at the Common Table.
