Social justice, is it your problem?

What is the connection between faith and works? To be 100% honest our culture would LOVE to be told that there is something we can do to earn salvation. Many would rather work a 60 hour work week than trust or rely on something that is outside of their control. Yet, this is what scripture says we need to do. But does that alleviate us from the responsibility of being a good neighbor or seeking justice?

John Wesley said that, "there is no holiness from social holiness," but he was also dead set on God's grace being the only thing that can save us. This weekend we will talk about finding the third way, and what it means for us and our journey of discipleship.
