Moving Toward Perfection

Three Simple Rules

As I pause and think about the news and stories that I've encountered in the past 24 hours I am reminded of some of the pain and brokenness in our world. From the middle east to flooding closer to home, and kids who are trying their best to adjust to what another school year looks like with restrictions, I don't have a lot of answers. I have questions and general opinions for days, but no real answers.

Yet, I also know that there is something I can do that will move the needle a little bit. I can make sure my next steps follow three simple rules that John Wesley asked the early Methodists to follow. In doing this I am confident that I can move a little bit closer to living a life of love and bring hope and connection to a world of isolation and anxiety.
