Possibility > Status Quo

The status quo is easy, possibility brings life.

The other week I sat in awe of a teacher who spoke life into my daughter. We are blessed with a wonderful set of teachers at the middle school who encourage Eden daily. I love watching as they speak hope into her life by revealing the possibilities and potential they see in her. With a few words they unlocked a world where Eden doesn't have to settle for the way things are, but she can work for what might be.

There is beauty in not settling for the status quo, but reaching for the potential future reality that might be just over the horizon. This weekend we will look how potential is greater than the status quo and what we need to do to not settle for our current circumstances, but risk a little for a future of hope and connection in the name of Jesus.
