Radically Generous

Money… “make all you can, save all you can, give all you can.”

John Wesley had some rather famous sayings about finances. His most famous statement on money is, "make all you can, save all you can, give all you can." The first two points sound great, but the last one is a little more difficult. Yet, in true John Wesley style, he practiced what he preached. We can learn a lot from this practical theologian through his words and deeds this week. The bottom line is that we are not just called to give without thinking, but we are called to give joyfully. Our worship conversation will be an invitation to explore how your giving might be a source of joy in following Jesus rather than creating tension between you and God.
