This week have been struck by the way there is a dramatic reversal in power in both the Grinch's story and the Christmas story. In some of my studying, I have been left with questions about what it means to take the gift of Jesus seriously and how transformative it would be if we used the power Jesus leave us within a way that reflects God's Kingdom instead of the one we are trying to create in our own image.
